These kinds of sites really frustrate me as they it is often so difficukt to find basic stuff! Two Qs can someone help me on:
1. how do I post a message to someone, ie how to find their name to click on? Do we have to scroll through 340+ names in alphabetical order till we find it? I had to go back to the email from you to get back to this screen. Or maybe I am as often missing the obvious?
2. What is the difference between a Group and a discussion in the Forum?
Thanks.

Is it possible to have a setting to get emails for a particular discussion posted to my inbox rather than to have to visit the website? I am interested for the moment in just the discussion about community organising. I don't find these sites very easy to find my way around. And so the time is too much otherwise.

thanks for the welcome. Just to say will try to follow the exchanges but very little time just now. But very involved in community action as activist in London, and working on articuating the dynamics of the grassroots which are not understood very well. Also on personal note I am half a Dobson as my mother's father was a Dobson from Gateshead, Tyneside...
